Bud 1
we are looking to make a simple script to install Windows 10 2004 to some older Windows 7 machines. We have a client that is way behind and their onsite IT staff has just now decided to tackle this issue. does anyone have anything simple that will do this. Basically i would like to supply an iso and have it install without requiring user action at all.
Tevin 1
This one worked great for me for the most part. If you are a cloud user, you wont be able to put the iso file into the LTDrive as it is too big. I did a file copy line from our share server to client Edited July 20, 2020 by Tevin

He said he had issues with it not working however I didn't dive into it at all. I will take another look at it just curious if anyone else had one.

You can look through my version of the script, may help a bit. I disabled some of the file delete lines for testing purposes. you can simply re-enable them TNE - Windows 10 Build Upgrade.xml Edited July 20, 2020 by Tevin

Bud 1
I did it was a frankenstein or a lot of people's ideas with a little bit of personalization. Basically download iso from an ftp, unpacked it with 7zip command line
Bud 1
so i thought i had it turns out on a deployment of 20 i got about a 35% failure rate.....back to the srcipt crunch for tonight i guess
Bud 1
Windows 10 update (2004 From LT share).xmlok so UAC got me. here it is ran it on 10 more tonight mix of win 7 and 8.1 and 100% success. I'm going to alter it to run from a FTP site from the client but this one runs from the LTshare if you put all the files in the correct location. Gonna grab a Jameson and celebrate success. jdaraver2011 0
I am new to Automate scripting and running into a problem where I can't get the Windows.iso to download from Google Drive. The download will kick off and start downloading but stop around 62KB/168KB every time and I cannot figure out why. I have tried all the download functions in Automate File URL download, File BITS Download, ect. but none seem to work. Any ideas would be appreciated
