Hello All, I came across an oddity. When I go to a client site and run a Service list data summary across all servers for the service name wuauserv, I find the report comes back with the service state stopped. If i right click on any device and start the service and then go to the command status page i can see it execute and then finish as success. Now if i pick the same server and install a Microsoft patch on it, and then log into the same server about 20 minutes later and check the installed patches, nothing shows for that KB as installed. If i check the same systems local services i can see

This bundle will create the following Role: HP Server And the following sub-roles: HP Server - Gen6 HP Server - Gen7 HP Server - Gen8 HP Server - Gen9 HP Server - Gen10 I don't do a lot with HP servers, so these roles are not heavily tested. If you see anything detected incorrectly, please let me know so that I can update the role detection definition. To import these Role Definitions, in the ConnectWise Automate main screen, go to Tools > Import -> SQL File. Browse to the relevant file, and OK the message about inserting 6 rows.- 3 comments

Hello, I've used Automate for several years, and have dabbled with scripts and monitors, but need a little help. I'd like to create an internal monitor to measure a server's up-time and then create a ticket to flag it to be rebooted manually if it exceeds the threshold.

Just wanted to see if anyone would have any experience to offer or opinions on this. We are working to setup a new on-prem server to be our new Automate Server. We currently have an on-prem Automate server but just working to move it to a more robust and better server than where it currently sits. We were thinking to have a split server setup where we would set the application server in the DMZ and then have the database server in our main production network in hopes to increase the security by placing the publicly accessible items in a DMZ and to keep the database more protected. Hi there, We seem to be having a lot of problems patching in Server 2016 - is anyone else here having difficulties? A lot of our Server 2016 servers (but not all) seem to be having updates done by UpdateOrchestrator’ & not by ‘CM Automate’ (see attached screenshot) All the patch settings in Ignite seem to be the same between the Servers that are ok, and the ones that are not, and they are all in the same Patching group, so we are at a bit of a loss to understand why some are not being patched by Labtech & some are. Does anyone know where I can look further to see w

I am looking to run/schedule a Patch Compliance Report. I can run this against the client only. This gives me all the workstations and servers. Since we have our servers in a different location would it be possible to run this report with the client and location thus giving me the report for just the servers? If there is a different report I need to be running please let me know that as well. What I would like to see is How Compliance is my servers. Last Patch Date and all patches approved and ready to install. Thank you! Rob

Hi guys, I need to copy a .msi from a server share to a local PC using a script. I then need to create another script to remove a program using the copied .msi. Does anyone know how to create a script for this? I tried and cannot get it to work. -
Is there a way to force Labtech to see the agent as a server instead of just a workstation, aside from installing the Mac Server software package? Thanks, Stephen

I am trying to query wmi for HP Server health but I cannot figure out how to do this with an alternate namespace. Does anyone know how to do this? I can do it with powershell but I am getting strange results. -
we often have the need to quickly gather information for our sales department to quote upgrades or migrations. the main information we look for is CPU count and cores. ram total and used. disk size and used space by drive letter. these seem simple. but there is not one canned report from LT that gives these, and if the server is a virtual machine there is even less info. anyone have a custom report or an idea to full fill this need? Thanks!

I need to be able to get the Patch Compliance Report, from the new Report Center in Labtech/Connectwise Automate, to be split by machine type. (ie. Server/Workstation). Need ASAP for a customer. Thanks
